The Haddam Neck Fair is one of Connecticut’s major agricultural fairs, run entirely by a dedicated all-volunteer team. It began in 1910 with a small event organized by the Haddam Neck Grange No. 177 in Bailey’s Field. In 1911, the Grange Agricultural Association purchased land on Quarry Hill Road and built the Grange Hall, which still serves as the heart of the fairgrounds today. Over time, the fair has grown from a two-day local gathering to a four-day celebration filled with attractions for all ages.
